Little Pockets of Time is a carefully chosen and designed preschool activity for little ones. Basic skills have been pulled from a story. These skills are reinforced through a matching activity. One idea is passed through a window frame. The child looks at this concept and finds its match on a card on the table in front of him. He then places it into a pocket. For instance, in Eric Carle's book The Very Hungry Caterpillar, the days of the week are taught and with each day, what the caterpillar ate is listed. Using our Little Pockets of Time, the day of the week strip slides through the window frame and then a flashcard with the correct food item is matched with that day and put into the pocket. Every Little Pocket of Time is unique, teaching different matching and sequencing lessons. This line of preschool books is being added to constantly. This is perfect for the little children to develop comprehension skills.
